Continuing education planner
Enter what your licence term requires, what you have already completed and when it renews. This works out whether you are on track, and how many hours a week are left to do. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Nothing here is legal or regulatory advice. Confirm the requirement with your licensing body.
Keep it tracked, not calculated
DeadlineDesk records each course as you complete it, counts the topic minimums for you, reminds you while there is still time, and prints a transcript when somebody asks for evidence. It tracks the rest of your renewals too.
How the planner works
The hours left are not simply the total you still owe. If your term needs 24 hours including 3 of ethics, and you have 24 hours with none of them in ethics, you still have 3 hours to sit — so a topic shortfall is counted even when the total is met. Where the two overlap, the larger demand is used rather than both added together.
The weekly pace is the hours outstanding spread over the weeks remaining. Anything above about ten hours a week is flagged, because at that point one busy fortnight makes the deadline unreachable.
Questions people ask
- Does this tell me how many hours my licence requires?
- No. Requirements differ by profession, by state or province and by year, and a planner that guessed them would be worse than useless. Take the total and any topic minimums from your licensing body, enter them here, and this works out what the remaining time demands.
- Why do topic minimums matter if I have the total hours?
- Because meeting the total does not satisfy a minimum. Many jurisdictions require a set number of hours in ethics, law, fair housing or similar, and a renewal can be refused with the total complete but the minimum unmet. This planner counts them separately for that reason.
- Is anything I type here saved or sent anywhere?
- No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored. Reload the page and it is gone.
- How early should I start?
- Earlier than feels necessary. Courses have to be scheduled, and completions can take days to appear in a state system. Anything above roughly ten hours a week is shown here as at risk, because at that point a single busy fortnight ends the plan.
